Helicopter

Junior Engineering

The British Model Flying Association (BMFA) Helicopter kit is another fun flying project. It requires assembly with normal school pva glue, scissors for cutting out the card and/or a craft knife for cutting the balsa wood.

Following on from the aeroglide project, further principles of aerodynamics can be covered in realation to how a helicopter flies.

Once complete the students can have a great fun time flying their helicopters outside to see who’s climbs the highest.
