WARWICK SCIENCE GALA

Great event at University of Warwick

‚ÄčThe Imagineering outreach team took some special activities to the annual Warwick Science Gala.

This annual evening event for families provided glimpses of the exciting world of science and technology that youngsters can enjoy if they engage with STEM subjects at school and college. There were fascinating fun activities on every table with tasters for children, many provided by students and staff from many of the university’s own science and engineering departments as well as other organisations. There were opportunities for them to talk to the students and find out what inspired them to pursuse their particular study paths.

Imagineering laid on a demonstration of the Imagibot (with skittles) that caused great amusement.. The ubiquitous Hydraulic Arm was on parade and also Imagineering’s Wind Turbines, with a demonstration of energy they produce. And the Maths Challenges was popular with all ages - including adults.
