New Website Goes Live

After months of designing & testing we are pleased to bring you our new website and url.

This replaces our old site which was designed some six years ago as a hobby by our current webmaster. With modern browsers and increases in technology the site was a little dated in the way we could manage it, so we have now deployed a content management system to enable all the Imagineering Foundation staff to update the content on the site from their own web broswers, making the site feel more up to date and current.

Our thanks go to National Grid for sponsoring the new website and to our website designer Tim Print of Shooma, who has worked tirelessly and continues to do so in making sure all the technical details and our requirements are met.

For our Registered Club Tutors, our project section is revamped which means that it is now easier for us to upload documents as soon as they are revised as well as providing you with current news items that affect your club operations. The Members News area also has the ability to allow our Tutors to post their own stories or queries, feedback and comments and this is intended to replace our old forum, with this new style blogging area.

A further improvement is our ability to post many photos from our Fairs in our previous events galleries, as well as providing videos across the site.

We hope you find this an improvement and look forward to receiving any feedback you may have about the site.

Congratulations on the new website.
Hope you are well, our days together at Bankside seem so long ago. I’ve been retired for eight years and became a tutor four years ago at Snitterfield. We then moved back to London to be near to the granddaughters and I am now a tutor at their convent school, a boys prep school and from November a local public school-
I find Imagineering it very rewarding and great fun!
Best regards
John
