Malvern Festival of Innovation highlights STEM opportunities

The Imagineering team took a stand on the Next Generation Innovators Day at the Three Counties Showgrond in Malvern - the second event in the week-long Festival.

The day showcased creative science, technology, and entrepreneurship for middle and senior school students (Years 7 to 9) from around the region, with opportunities for pupils to listen to lectures, participate in hands-on workshops, and tour an extensive exhibition of organisations, including Imagineering.

On the Imagineering stand there were maths challenges - and word and number searches went down well. The Hydraulic Arm was as popular as ever. Some special KNEX curriculum models also attracted attention from pupils and teachers alike.

The event also included stands from: Inst of Physics; IET; IMechE; Cheltenham Science Group; GE Aviation; legrand; Morgan Motor Co; Mazak as well as various universities.
