The West Midlands branch of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST) has made a £600 donation to Imagineering. In spite of challenging times the West Midlands branch sees that support of Imagineering is a top priority for the future of engineering and the sustainable economic success of the UK.
Bill Harris, Hon Secretary of the West Midlands branch, said: " Engaging youngsters in the fascinating and challenging world of engineering, particularly through the junior engineering clubs, is a most worthwhile and genuinely effective way of doing this and we have no doubt that it will be of great benefit to future generations. We wish Imagineering every success in the years to come.'
Members of IMarEST have frequently supported Imagineering Fairs and events with lively activities on their stands and also provided a unique view of the essential and exciting work of the engineers who work in the specialist fields of marine engineering and technology.
