IMAGINEERING TUTOR RETIRES AFTER 13 YEARS

Graham Nicholson steps back

Graham Nicholson

Graham had been the main Imagineering Tutor at the Tanworth-in-Arden C of E Primary School in Warwickshire for over 13 years, one of the longest serving Imagineering Tutors. At the age of 83, he thought it was time to hand over to others!

He was presented with a Certificate of appreciation for his dedication and hard work by Imagineering Chairman, Bob Shanks on his last day at the school.

Graham said: “I have enjoyed the time spent with the young people of Tanworth in Arden Junior school, and also the company of the various tutors I have recruited over the 13 years. It is very interesting to see the various pupils approaches to the practical and mental skills required during the Imagineering club’s year, and also how myself and the other tutors have to adapt to the challenges of the Club. Please consider becoming a Club tutor - you will enjoy it!”

Jane Mantle, a member of staff at the school and Imagineering assistant, also paid tribute to his ‘wonderful patience and rapport with the children.’

And Graham will be keeping in touch!
