IMAGINEERING STEALS THE SHOW – ON THE GROUND – AT YEOVILTON INTERNATIONAL AIR DAY
Guests of the Royal Navy, several organisations supported Imagineering at the one-day event.
AgustaWestland, Airbus, Aero Engine Controls, Fleet Air Arms Museum, Army Recruiting, Michael Denny and Meccano, GE Aviation and Royal Navy Recruiting – all regular supporters of Imagineering – laid on loads of fun stuff for youngsters in Hangar 7 at the RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day at Ilchester, Somerset. Shared with the Royal Navy’s own Service Display teams, it was without doubt the busiest hangar on site – over 8000 visitors were estimated to have gone through the doors. The rain held off until everyone was on their way home – so the stunning air displays throughout the day kept visitors looking skywards – when they weren’t playing ‘imagineering’ and enjoying all the hands-on activities in Hangar 7!
