Taking a stand at London Model Engineering Exhibition
The Imagineering team gets 2018 off to an exciting start with its regular stand of fun STEM activities in the Model Active Zone at this fascinating event - Great Hall, Alexandra Palace from 19-21 January 2018. ·
On the Imagineering pitch will be Imagineering Workshop providing opportunities for children sit down with an engineer, learn how to use tools and to make a model they can take home, learning some skills that will be useful for the future.
Assorted fun practical activities include Materials, Magnetic and Conductivity Challenges. Children can learn Morse Code messaging and how it works, and also learn Maths Tricks they can practise on friends.
The Imagineering Clubs team will be demonstrating how children can actively learn about engineering and technology. in weekly Clubs and through special projects.
The London Model Engineering Exhibition fills the iconic Great Hall with the full spectrum of modelling from traditional model engineering, steam locomotives and traction engines through to the more modern gadget and boys toys including trucks, boats, aeroplanes and helicopters as featured on “The One Show”. Over 50 clubs and societies will be present displaying their members work and competing to win the prestigious Society Shield. In total nearly 2,000 models will be on display. All of the leading suppliers will also be present giving hobbyists an excellent opportunity to see and compare products under one roof. You will be able to purchase virtually anything you need for your next model or project or to get you started in a hobby.
