The Imagineering team spent a fun day at this popular annual event, part of a whole week’s programme of special events across Malvern
Today we need to innovate more than ever: the way we do business, the way we use resources; the way we live. As the organisers point out, we need new ideas to stay competitive, new technologies to improve lives, and new insights to lead the way. Malvern Festival of Innovation highlighted what’s coming next and provides opportunities to learn how others are innovating.
Next Generation Innovators Day, held at the Malvern Showground, gave Imagineering the opportunity to step up alongside other organisations to inspire the next generation of engineers, designers and innovators. On the stand it had a range of challenges and activities and engaged hundreds of Year 7-9 students from across the county. The Imagineering team also engaged with teachers to learn about the challenges they face in delivering STEM and careers advice.
Other companies taking part in the Day included IMechE, IET, Qinetiq, Mazak, Inst. of Physics, Royal Society of Chemistry and Western Power Distribution.
