IMAGINEERING HELPS TO CELEBRATE 70th ANNIVERSARY OF RNAS YEOVILTON
Imagineering joins the Royal Navy for a very special anniversary at RNAS Yeovilton
Imagineering shared a large and very busy hangar with various display teams from the Royal Navy.
Imagineering participants had activities for all ages and commercial firms sat cheel by jowl with military teams.
A first for Imagineering - a live military band! The crowds in the hangar were entertained with some popular tunes by the Royal Navy band to resounding applause.
Imagineering took a group of companies to the one-day RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day, guests of the Royal Navy at the Fleet Air Arm base, RNAS Yeovilton nr Ilchester, Somerset. AugustaWestland, Airbus, Army, Fleet Air Arm Museum, GE Aviation, IMarEST and Serco joined the Imagineering Clubs team to share a busy hangar with the Royal Navy display teams and provide some exciting ground-based activities for youngsters. Over 28,000 people attended the Air Day enjoying fantastic weather and stunning air displays - with 3000 plus people thronging through the hangar alone.
