Imagineering and the RAF partnered up in an exciting marquee of activity at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.
A week after Yeovilton Air Day, some of Imagineering’s loyal supporters found even more energy to join in the excitement of the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, guests of the RAF and RAF Charitable Trust. The largest public air show in Europe, the Tattoo attracted over 155,000 visitors over two days. Celebrations included the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Imagineering – AeroEngine Controls, Army, GE Aviation, IMarEST, REME and Rolls-Royce – shared a busy marquee in the TRI@RIAT youth area with RAF organisations, all laying on an array of fun activities for youngsters of all ages. Together with fabulous weather and fantastic air displays, it was a perfect day out for thousands of families. An estimated 8000 visitors came through the busy marquee alone enjoying everything from mechanical activities to electronic wizardry.
