Inspiring youngsters with exciting engineering and technology fun, delivered by some of the UK’s major companies and the region’s colleges and universities.
Scores of STEM activities for young people - 8-16years - and an opportunity to meet young engineers and learn how they got on to their own career path.
Features include the amazing AMRC MANTRA - an exciting new addition to Imagineering this year. MANTRA (The Manufacturing Transporter) is a specially customised HGV trailer, designed to give aspiring young engineers a hands-on experience with real cutting-edg technologies. On-board attractions include a fully operational 3D virtual reality integrated welding simulator, the latest UAV technology and a tracked 3-D virtual reality system where students can dismantle virtual jet engines. There is a 3D Mojo printer, which can print small demonstration pieces. An interactive SteamVR Vive motion tracked system that can teleport you around virtual settings.
Don’t miss this year’s Grand Draw for a £100 Gift Card! Visit all the stands and do an activity, fill out your Imagineering Passport with stickers or stamps from each stand and then enter the Draw! Check it out at the Information Desk at the marquee entrance.

The iconic BLOODHOUND SSC will be making an appearance again in its striking orange air tunnel with updates and news.
At this event Imagineering will also be celebrating The Year of Engineering 2018 - the Government’s national campaign to inspire the next generation of engineers. We are taking part to help young people and their parents #takeacloserlookat engineering #YoE #inspirenanengineer.
