The Imagineering Fair @ Airbase, Coventry saw another success this Bank Holiday weekend – with some visitors coming back for a second day!
Visitors to the Imagineering Fair at AIRBASE, Coventry Airport spent hours over the bank holiday weekend immersed in the scores of fun hands-on activities laid on by a wide range of organisations from across the Midlands.
TV personality and inventor Trevor Baylis entertained visitors in his own inimitable way, describing how he became a famous inventor and displaying some of his inventions including the clockwork radio.
The displays by the Formula Student Racing Cars were popular, as were equally noisy displays of aircraft engines!
They also had the opportunity to explore at close quarters some of AIRBASE’s own collection of classic aircraft, sitting in the pilot’s seat on occasion!
The new location was a great success providing plenty for all ages to see and do. The tickets were valid for all three days and a number of people came back for a second time – as they hadn’t had chance to do everything the first time round!
