At an annual event in Warwick

The Imagineering Team took its own brand of fun to the University of Warwick Science Gala - an evening extravaganza highlighting inspiring careers and exciting science. Students, teachers, friends, family, were all welcomed and found something of interest, whatever their age.

Imagineering entertained hundreds over the evening with fun STEM activities involving Imagibots, Hydraulic Arms and Wind Turbines and was one of number of organisations and university departments highlighting various aspects of science, engineering and technology.

Visitors to the Gala also heard about career opportunities and had the opportunity to speak to professors, staff and students at the University. They were able to visit the Planetarium and the science laboratories – and even go on a virtual tour of ATLAS at CERN!

The 2017 winners of the XMaS Scientist Experience shared their experiences of the visit and the inspirational scientists they met there.
