TREVOR BAYLIS OBE, TV personality and famous inventor of the clockwork radio, is to join in the fun at the IMAGINEERING FAIR@ AIRBASE, Coventry Airport West this Bank Holiday weekend - 27-29th August 2011.
This exciting family event will be packed full of fun engineering and technology activities for youngsters of all ages. Visitors can chat to Trevor about how he became an inventor and how youngsters can follow in his footsteps. There will be everything from robots, simulators and IT to mechanical and electrical challenges, aviation and automotive engineering – all laid on by some of the region’s major manufacturers. There will be buttons to push, knobs to turn, levers to pull, things to make - and prizes to be won. Visitors can also get a close up view of AIRBASE’s stunning collection of classic aircraft.
There is plenty inspire, fascinate and occupy children for hours – and it is not dependent on weather as most activity is under cover - an ideal family day out. Tickets are valid for all 3 days – in case youngsters find they can’t get around everything in one day!
