Imagineering Fair at Ricoh Arena attracted hundreds of excited youngsters
The wide variety of stands and activities kept all the children occupied for hours - and some families attended on both days!
They could make springs; make smoothies using bicycle energy; make F1 cars and race them; make-and-take balloon cars; see industrial robots play crazy golf; test their reactions in Wasps WIZ; take part in a Mannequin Challenge; see fantastic projects developed by Warwick University students; all kinds of robots; they could see their own body cells under a microscope; learn some fantastic physics facts; catch their breath at the Urban Astronaut; learn to fly iconic planes on flight simulators; learn how aeroengines are put together; make and fly planes of all kinds; ..............................................and so much more!
Kirsty Leahy from Touch FM spent the Saturday morning broadcasting from the Fair, at various stands. And Sally Johnson of BBC Coventry & Warwickshire dropped in on Sunday morning as part of the stations ‘Gold and Treasure’ Challenge Trail programme.
To quote one young visitor, it was all ‘Awesome!’
