BUSY WEEKEND FOR IMAGINEERING

With summer events across the region

A recent weekend saw the Imagineering team dividing its time between two new events for Imagineering.

Saturday 9 June was the Kenilworth Show in Warwickshire and Imagineering took a stand with some fun activity including the Hydraulic Arm, in an agricultural setting, and also some K’Nex projects.

Sunday 10 June - other Imagineers went to the exciting RAF Cosford Air Show at Albrighton near Wolverhampton, celebrating 100 years of the RAF. Set up in the STEM Hangar with other organisations including Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, Leonardo and the AMRC MANTRA, Imagineering created its own ‘Flight Zone’ for paper planes as well as its usual table top fun.

Later summer fun includes the RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day in Somerset on 7 July and the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate 10-12 July. A busy time for the team - but everyone working to the same end - promoting engineering and technology to youngster through fun STEM activities - and demonstrating the fabulous career opportunities available.
