The 1000mph SuperSonic Car is inspiring a new generation of scientists and engineers.
The stunning lifesize model of the jet and rocket-powered racing car will be the centre of attention at the Imagineering Fair at the 150th Royal Bath & West Show at Shepton Mallet, Somerset on 29 May – 1 June. The BLOODHOUND Project is an international education initiative focused around a 1000mph World Land Speed Record attempt. The aim of which is to inspire young people to pursue careers in Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics by demonstrating their application in the most exciting way possible.
On the stand at the Fair will also be the BLOODHOUND Driving Experience, giving visitors the chance to 'speed' at 14 times the national limit across the Hakskeen Pan, South Africa , where the real attempt is to take place.
