WARWICK COUNCIL CHAIRMAN VISITS CLUB

At St Nicholas’s Primary School, Kenilworth

The pupils in the two after-school Imagineering Clubs at St Nicholas C of E Primary School in Kenilworth, Warwickshire welcomed two very important guests last week in the persons of the Chairman of Warwick District Council, Councillor George Illingworth and his wife Mrs Joanna Illingworth.

Councillor Illingworth has been a long-standing supporter of Imagineering since it was founded in 2000.

He, and his wife, enthusiastically joined in with the childrens’ STEM activities, making special models from kits - and had a most enjoyable time!

The two Imagineering Clubs at St Nicholas run concurrently once a week throughout the academic year. One is headed by Imagineering’s own Chairman, Bob Shanks who lives locally, with the help of John Shiell and Bill Bailes. The second Club is run by Richard Earp, formerly of National Grid, with assistance from Mark Perry and Adam Newington.
