Over 35,000 visitors attended the RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day with soaring temperatures over 30 degrees most of the day. Clear blue skies provided an ideal back drop for some breathtaking air displays. On the ground in Hangar 8, Imagineering 'regulars' Aero Engine Controls; Agusta Westland; Airbus; Dowty; GE Aviation; Fleet Air Arm Museum and Michael Denny with his Meccano models braved the heat to put on another great show for children and their families. Loads of fun activities and displays demonstrating some of the stunning technology produced by these companies kept youngsters occupied between air displays.
