Imagineering Fair was a major event with a large marquee and its own arena for the hotly-contested Imagineering Team Challenge between the participants.
The BLOODHOUND SSC show car was a major attraction - the real thing will be built to break the World Land Speed Record at over 1000mph!
One young 'imagineer' from Midsomer Norton was eager to test one of the Imagineering models with his own puff!

The Imagineering Fair at the Royal Bath & West Show at Shepton Mallet in Somerset earlier this summer won the Gold Award for Best Feature in Show for the 3rd year running! The President of the Royal Bath & West Society, the Countess of Wessex kindly dropped by to present the Trophy in person to Event Manager Rod Cannon. Over 155,600 visitors came to the Show this year, over 23,000 of whom visited Imagineering and the scores of fantastic hands-on activities laid on by Imagineering’s supporters – UK’s major companies, international manufacturers, engineering organisations and colleges – during the four-day event. The spectacular BLOODHOUND SSC show car was centre of attention and a wide spectrum of activities including, marine, aerospace, manufacturing, electronics, robots and security kept children occupied for hours!
