We provide packages on a range of curriculum STEM subjects for both Primary and Secondary school students covering Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4. Coupling these with visits to the Land Rover design and test facilities provides invaluable access to the real world of automotive engineering development and contact with practicing engineers. We can also work closely with teachers to develop tailor-made programmes to fit the most demanding curriculum requirements.

The Imagineering – Jaguar Land Rover Partnership Centre at Gaydon in Warwickshire was established over 12 years ago and has recently moved into a new building. The Centre offers many opportunities for students to participate in a variety of activities covering Science, Technology, Engineering and Design.

Programmes

The Centre can be booked for a half or full day programme with full day programmes generally including at least one site visit to Land Rover design and test facilities, which is a valuable learning experience. We deliver a wide range of taught modules for both Primary and Secondary school students.

Grid @ 75 Challenge Sessions are free*

To celebrate the 75th birthday of the Grid, National Grid has sponsored the development of a constructional module based on a miniature section of the grid with all key elements working. These sessions are aimed at year 5, 6 and 7 pupils in groups of up to 30. A special version of this Module is also available for Y10 groups doing GCSE Physics where activities link directly to the ‘National Grid’ curriculum element. *Imagineering can offer transport for up to 30 students and 2 staff members (32 total) for £130 – within a 1 hour travelling time from Gaydon

Demand for these programmes is high so early booking is essential.

Transportation

The Partnership Centre has two minibuses that can transport thirty students and two members of staff to and from the centre. For schools within 1 hour travelling time of the centre at Gaydon in Warwickshire this transportation will be provided AT NO CHARGE!

The full day prices for 2011/2012 year are;

£320 for a half day session
